Wellbeing Business Partner
The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Wellbeing Business Partner to join Newcastle Anglican.
You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of comprehensive wellbeing and psychosocial services across our varied business units, including Anglican Care and Samaritans. You will promote the health, safety and overall wellbeing of all employees.
This is a Fixed Term 12 month contract

Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver systems and processes to improve the organisations’ approach to supporting the health and wellbeing of employees.
- Engage and consult with managers and key stakeholders to undertake strategic analysis and drive improvements in health, wellbeing and psychosocial performance and outcomes.
- Provides high level support in the delivery of programs and interventions that support employee wellbeing across the organisation.
- Provides advice on the application and interpretation of relevant legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Engage all levels of the organisation to understand their duties and responsibilities and build accountability.
- Provide professional, best practice advice and solutions that improve our risk profile to help ensure that our people's wellbeing is enhanced through their employment.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Additional tasks as reasonably requirement by Manager.
About you?
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS, Health, Psychology or a relevant discipline
- Demonstrated experience implementing wellbeing programs in a complex organisation.
- Demonstrated experience working in a health and safety function with specific experience in psychosocial safety and risk management
- Strong knowledge of WHS, psychosocial risk and Workers Compensation legislation
- High level attention to detail and focus on risk management
