Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, you will assist with coordinating & maintaining Work Health and Safety systems and practices across all Newcastle Anglican operations with a focus on Workers Compensation and Injury Management. You will assist with coordinating injury management plans and return to work programs across all of the Newcastle Anglican agencies including Anglican Care, Samaritans, Anglican Schools, Diocese and Parishes.To be considered for the role, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar role and ideally have completed the online Return to Work coordination training through SIRA.You must be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team, having the ability to prioritize and work effectively in a challenging environment. Ideally we're looking for someone with strong engagement skills who can work on building relationships with services and stakeholders.You will also have excellent communication skills and have demonstrated experience using electronic reporting.Essential:Demonstrated previous Injury Management experience.Demonstrated capabilities in the application of Microsoft Office suite of products.Team focused with high-level interpersonal communications, negotiation and customer service skills.Ability to undertake work health and safety systems audits effectively.Capacity to provide support to management in work health, safety systems.Completed the Return to Work coordination training through SIRA or willing to complete.Desirable:Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent experience.Knowledge of risk management practices, processes and procedures.Experience working as a Return To Work Coordinator.
