
Registered Nurse - Scenic Lodge, Merewether
The Opportunity:
We have exciting opportunities for Registered Nurses to join Newcastle Anglican at our Scenic Lodge facility in Merewether! You will have the ability to act as a team leader and mentor at ward level, participating in effective teamwork and maintaining communication with colleagues to promote collaboration and facilitate the coordination of person-centred care. Your strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills will prove invaluable as you work collaboratively with a range of staff.
Night shifts = penalty rates!

Role & Responsibilities:
- Experience in palliative care, knowledge of AN-ACC and providing high quality care of the ageing people
- Demonstrated experience in leadership of employees
- Excellent time management, an ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work a range of shifts
- Current Drivers Licence
About you?
- Registered Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Proven ability to deliver person centre care that respects the dignity and worth of the individual.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement)
- Able to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
- National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
