Career and development opportunities About youYou will responsible for providing assessment and intervention for individuals supported by Samaritans who may have a developmental delay or disability. You will focus on building the capacity, skills and knowledge of the person and their families, and mainstream services. The Samaritans Psychologist will be linked to the wider Samaritans Foundation Allied Health and Therapy Services for professional development in evidence-based practice and supervision.The EssentialsQualified [AS3] psychologist with APHRA registrationActive, creative and flexible in your approachExperience working with vulnerable children and families, using a trauma informed, strengths-based framework.Experience in developing and evaluating the implementation of behaviour support strategies.Ability to develop and maintain partnerships with other stakeholders.Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated experience prioritising workloads and managing clients with complex needs.Able to supervise, coach and mentor others.Leadership skills and experience in clinical leadership / service developmentA consultative and empathetic individualWho we are?Who we are?
