As an IT System Administrator you will have the opportunity to do this each and every day, by bringing respect, compassion and integrity to your daily work.As a member of the ICT Services Team you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of organisational deployed application and services; maintenance and optimisation of server systems including checking security and application logs. Your role will include developing and maintaining Information and Communication Technology Services policies and procedures relating to the daily operation and maintenance of Anglican Care’s Information and Communication Technology infrastructure.The successful applicant will act as a resource person to facilitate the operations on the ICT department as well as planning and executing assigned Information and Communication Technology projects.This is an opportunity to make your mark within a 60 year old, well established, well resourced and highly respected organisation in the aged care sector. Experience in Aged Care is not essential to be suitable for this role.Essential:To apply for this role you will be confident in your ability to:demonstrate your vocational education and/or experience in sales and customer serviceTertiary qualification in an IT related field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology) and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in It systems administration.Work effectively as an individual and within a team.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated understanding of IT systems.Demonstrated competence in desktop and server support.Demonstrated experience in training and presentations.Demonstrated competence in implementation of IT applications.Demonstrated competence in providing advice and support to staff in IT matters.Demonstrated experience in Information and Communication Technology helpdesk support.Demonstrated basic project management skills.Demonstrated experience in working within a flexible, multi-skilled team environment with advanced interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.Desirable:Demonstrated knowledge of the Health and/or Aged Care Sector.At Anglican Care our skilled and caring people are the most important resources we have.
