Your strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills will prove invaluable as you work collaboratively with a range of staff.The successful applicant will lead by example promoting excellence in nursing practice and will rely upon your organisational skills and ability to use initiative and judgement in order to achieve desired outcomes. You will have demonstrated experience the development and review of policies and educational resources, as well as coordinating education programs in conjunction with the Clinical Nurse Educators.To be able to apply for this role you will have:Essential:Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing and current Registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Additional Tertiary qualifications or post registration certificates in training.Minimum of 5 years recent clinical experience in the Aged Care industry.Demonstrated experience in the facilitation of teaching and learning.Practical knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards and ACFI.Demonstrated ability to work as a change agent in relation to clinical practice and act as an information source to staff.Superior written and verbal communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.Ability to work autonomously and in a team in order to achieve positive outcomes for residents, clients and the development of staff.Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to use initiative and judgement in work planning and decision making.Experience in leading, coordinating and facilitating clinical education programs that support and encourage staff to further develop clinical and professional skills.Motivation to support and encourage staff to further develop clinical and professional skills.Desirable:Masters in nursing or education or working towards the same.Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher.Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent.At Anglican Care our skilled and caring people are the most important resources we have.
