As a Home Care Employee you will work in collaboration with consumers and family members as part of our dynamic team to help us support seniors living independently by providing personal, social and emotional support. The aim of the Community & Home Care Services team is to co-ordinate packages of home care and services to provide consumers with choice and flexibility in the way their care and services are delivered. To be able to apply for this role you will need to have:Essential:Certificate III in Aged CareProven ability to deliver consumer-centred care that respects the dignity and worth of the individualCurrent Senior First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement)Current driver’s licence with registered, comprehensively insured and reliable motor vehicleAbility to work effectively as an individual and as part of a teamWillingness to undertake further trainingFlexibility to multi task and prioritise workloadFlexibility work work various shifts Understanding of safe work practices and proven experience in the use of appropriate manual handling techniquesDesirable:Experience working with people living with dementiaExperience in palliative careExperience with complex care needs, clinical observation and reporting At Anglican Care our skilled and caring people are the most important resources we have.
