As an ACFI Link Nurse you will have the opportunity to do this each and every day by bringing respect, compassion and integrity to your role to enhance the wellbeing of our consumers.The Anglican Care Residential Care Services team are seeking an experienced and professional ACFI Link Nurse who will be responsible for continuous monitoring, maintenance and review of ACFI systems across our Residential Aged Care homes. This role involves working closely with our Residential Care Managers and care teams to ensure compliance in both practices and processes.The successful applicant will have the ability support to our homes in achieving optimal clinical care outcomes through the implementation of Anglican Care’s policies and procedures, as well as provide training on clinical care and ACFI systems. Your strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills will prove invaluable as you work collaboratively with a range of staff.This role will require some travel.To be able to apply for this role you will have:Essential:Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).Tertiary and/or industry qualifications in management, or a health related discipline.Extensive knowledge and experience of ACFI rules and applicationExperience in coaching/mentoring employeesWillingness to travel between all Anglican Care sitesComputer literacyCurrent NSW Drivers LicenceDesirable:Detailed, working knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.Detailed, working knowledge of the Aged Care regulatory environment including the 1997 Aged Care Act and associated legislation and Principles.Knowledge of Medicare claiming systems, Aged Care Complaints Scheme and Australian Aged Care Quality AgencyFamiliarity with electronic care planning and documentation systemsAt Anglican Care our skilled and caring people are the most important resources we have.
